We collect and use information only for the purposes described here and subject to applicable law. Where consent is required, we will request it before the relevant processing.
Scope
Cart Sadan allows customers to register or sign in, select a shop, browse products, add products to a cart, place orders, choose self pickup or home delivery, follow order status, receive notifications, and view order details or invoices where available.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Cart Sadan.
Account and contact information
- Name and mobile number
- Email address, if you provide one
- Account and login information
- Delivery address and information you provide to support an order
Shopping and order information
- Selected shop, cart contents, products, and quantities
- Order number, date and time, status, amount, and fulfilment choice
- Delivery details and order-related customer support information
Payment and transaction information
Where online payment is available, Cart Sadan may receive or process the order amount, payment status, payment method reference, and transaction identifiers. The payment provider and its data practices will be named in this policy before that feature is enabled.
Device, notification, and activity information
- A Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token or similar device notification identifier
- App and order activity needed to maintain the cart, provide the service, troubleshoot issues, and protect the application
Location information
Cart Sadan may request device location when a location-based function is enabled and needed for home delivery. Depending on the feature and the permission you grant, this may include a precise location.
Location may be used to:
- Identify or confirm your delivery location
- Support accurate home-delivery service
- Provide location-relevant delivery functions
Location is not required for basic product browsing. It is not required for ordinary self pickup unless a specific feature clearly explains why it needs location. You can deny or withdraw location permission in your device settings.

- Process orders, self pickup, home delivery, and related support
- Provide status updates, notifications, invoices, and order records

Service providers
Supabase
Cart Sadan uses Supabase for backend services that may include authentication, database storage, and processing of application, product, customer, cart, and order information.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Cart Sadan uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. FCM may process a notification registration token and related device information to send order confirmation, status, pickup, delivery, and other important service updates.
Future providers
If Cart Sadan adds a payment gateway, analytics provider, mapping service, or another provider, this policy will be updated before or when that provider begins processing user information.
We require providers that process personal information for Cart Sadan to protect it consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.
Retention and security
Retention
We retain personal and order information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required account and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

You may request deletion of your Cart Sadan account and associated personal information through our account deletion page, through any deletion option made available in the app, or by emailing contact@cartsadan.in.
When processing a deletion request, we may retain information that is required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or maintain required transaction records.
Children’s privacy
Cart Sadan is not intended for children below the minimum age required under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and act on the request.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cart Sadan may use technologies necessary for authentication, session management, security, and application functionality. This website does not currently add advertising or analytics trackers. If those practices change, this policy will be updated to explain the technologies and choices available.

We may update this policy when the application, service providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
